June 2011
We just returned from a 4,600 mile road trip to visit our moms, attend my nephew's wedding in New York, and visit our wonderful Maryland old friends. Then on to the Great Smokey Mountains for some cool weather and marvelous hiking. We found a wonderful rustic luxury resort, The Swag Country Inn, and can't wait to go back again! It is located on top of a mountain just outside of Ashville, North Carolina. Then a quick trip to Anna Maria Island just outside of Sarasota for a birthday party and stay at the Harrington House B&B - the beaches there are awesome! Now we are back to tennis, golf and just enjoying the wonderful sunshine. Maybe take in a sunset this evening . . . ..

Christmas 2011
Kitchen remodeling still in process so we decided to visit all our neighbors on Christmas Eve with lots of champagne and chocolates! Santa was a little warm but he was jolly and wonderful!
